Alliances and Partnership
The energy transition is the biggest challenge of our times. It requires us to not work against each other, but to join forces across all energy related sectors with the goal of reaching net-zero targets in Europe through a joint effort for a more sustainable and secure future.
Solar Heat Europe is part of several alliances and research groups and regularly partners with relevant stakeholders from the energy sector to accelerate the energy transition in the best way possible.
Renewable Heating and Cooling Alliance
Since 2021, Solar Heat Europe is part of the Renewable Heating and Cooling Alliance together with the following five Brussels-based associations: The European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC), the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA), Energy Cities, the European Climate Foundation, Euroheat& Power. The alliance’s objective is to help ensure a rapid, large-scale deployment of local, cost-effective, zero-emission heating and cooling solutions such as geothermal, district heating and cooling systems, solar thermal and heat pumps.
ENZA
Solar Heat Europe is part of the European Net Zero Alliance (ENZA), which brings together 25 likeminded associations committed to climate neutrality from across all energy sectors with the common goal to deliver the energy transition through cooperation. ENZA supports European policymakers in reaching net-zero targets through both cost-effective solutions and reliance on the internal energy market. In 2024, ENZA published a 2040 Roadmap with concrete policy recommendations for the European energy transition.
