Solar Heat Europe welcomes Solar Macedonia as its new member

Solar Heat Europe is thrilled to welcome Solar Macedonia into its expanding network of members, strengthening further our position as a dynamic and growing force advocating for solar thermal solutions. We are looking forward to working together to increase the adoption of solar heating and cooling solutions across Europe and beyond.

The Macedonian Solar Association “Solar Macedonia” is a professional, scientific, educational, and non-governmental association whose focus is strengthening cooperation between North Macedonian and regional companies in the solar energy sector (producers, contractors, importers, traders, academic experts, etc.), as well as connecting experts and scientists from all scientific branches for the promotion of renewable energy sources.

The organisation is giving services at every level in the supply chain, from production to service and maintenance of solar energy systems as PV but especially PVT and Solar thermal systems, as well as promoting solar energy as a sustainable solution for energy needs. In order to achieve the maximum use of solar energy in North Macedonia, the Macedonian Solar Association is actively working in the field of raising the quality of work in solar companies, helping them to overcome problems, and creating healthy competitive conditions for work, employment, advancement, and development.

The Macedonian Solar Association is also working on creating good market conditions for companies in the solar sector, especially for solar thermal systems. In addition, the members of our association have been part of this sector for a long period and know in detail the current and past problems they have faced in the course of their work. With the help of their experience and expertise, the Macedonian Solar Association organises events such as conferences, solar fairs, trainings for solar designers, installers, financing, etc.

‘’The vision and dedication of Solar Heat Europe towards advancing European quality standards and fostering innovation, especially combined solar thermal with the other RES, serve as invaluable resources for members of the Macedonian Solar Energy Association. Through their relentless advocacy and strategic policy initiatives, they offer instrumental support, empowering practitioners to elevate their work’s quality and standards.’’ – prof. Ilija Nasov, PhD, President of the Macedonian Solar Energy Association.

‘’This collaborative effort paves the way for enhanced professionalism and cutting-edge advancements within the solar energy sector in North Macedonia.’’ – Msc. Trajkov Stefan, Project Manager of the Macedonian Solar Energy Association.
